Matthew worked in the legal teams at Fremantle Media and record label Anjunabeats, and founded a legal news website whilst studying law.

Full Biography

He is now training at a leading litigation law firm in contentious and non contentious Intellectual Property and Commercial, having previously sat in Corporate and Arbitration.

Matthew currently writes for his firm’s website on data protection and intellectual property and edits a site devoted to legal news in the music industry. He also wrote album reviews and commentaries for another websites.

He prides himself on his music collection and is an avid traveller, having spent time feeding baby rhinos in Kenya and meandering across the world as and when he can.

Anand Pandya

Anand works in the legal team of one of the world’s best known technology brands having trained at city law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner. Anand also has nine years of experience in IT consulting having founded multiple technology businesses.

Full Biography

After studying History for his undergraduate degree, Anand converted to law and gained experience at a global top-ten law firm and a leading US law firm. He subsequently completed his training at Berwin Leighton Paisner gaining experience in Corporate Tax, Antitrust & Competition (including three months in Brussels), Intellectual Property & Data Protection and Commercial, IT & Outsourcing.

He contributed to the International Competition Network (ICN) 2016 study into global merger control notification thresholds and requirements. He subsequently attended the ICN annual conference in Singapore as a guest of the US Federal Trade Commission.

Anand was a contributing author to a case study on the impact of technology on millennials in the legal sector published in the April 2017 edition of journal Globe Law and Business – Modern Legal Practice.

Anand now works in the legal team of one of the world’s best known technology consulting brands in their UK commercial contracts team.

Aimee Wang 

Aimee graduated from UCL with a first class degree in Mathematics and Mathematical Physics. She now works as an Associate in the TMT IP group of a Magic Circle law firm in London.

Aimee graduated from UCL with a first class degree in Mathematics and Mathematical Physics. She subsequently studied post-graduate law at the University of Law, Moorgate.

Aimee trained at a Magic Circle law firm, gaining experience in Restructuring & Insolvency, TMT & IP, Derivatives & Structure Products and Corporate. She has also spent time in their Amsterdam office and on client secondment. On qualification, she joined the TMT IP group in their London office as an associate.

During her student days, Aimee volunteered with the Citizens Advice Bureau and with Oxfam at music festivals and in their shops. She was also a sub-editor and wrote music gig reviews and interviews for student magazines.

Aimee likes travelling and going to live comedy gigs. She combines these interests when she attends the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year.
